Senshuan Karyo

Sensyuan Sohonke is a Japanese confectionery founded in 1860 in Hakodate, Hokkaido.
The Sensyuan Karyo Hakobiva store sells a variety of confections, including the standard "Dorayaki" and "Ganso Yama Oyaji" as well as "Castella Manju Manju Hakodate Walk" and "Jagaimo Manju" (potato bun).
How about some sweets from Sensyuan Sohonke as a souvenir from Hakodate?
We look forward to seeing you at our store.

■Dorayaki 1 piece ¥260 (tax included)
Dainagon from the Donan region of Hokkaido, centering on Hakodate, is used to make the dorayaki, which are still carefully prepared over a period of three days with a sweet bean paste. The dough is prepared using the time-consuming Yoigone method, and each piece is steamed and baked individually.

■Ganso Yama Oyaji 5 pieces ¥420 (tax included)
Hakodate Senjuan Sohonke's original Yama Oyaji was first made by Sakitaro Matsuda IV in the early Showa period (1926-1989), and he passed on the recipe to the other Senjuans in the area.
The dough is made of white bean flour and wheat flour, with butter and milk from farms near Hakodate used as ingredients instead of water.
